A Blog written by the husband of an ex female methodist minister. In South African culture the (normally) female partner of a minister is called "Mev. Dominee" or translated directly into English: "Mrs. Reverend". Seeing as my wife is the reverend I guess that makes me Mev. Dominee.
I don't know if this helps, but our church's website has been running for a couple of months (2 or 3) and it also started slowly. Even though we are in Randburg with a very hi-tech population. We now get about 25 readers a week as long as we send out an email reminder to check the blog about once a month. But the fall-off is getting less and I suppose the people are getting the habit. I also read that you will get one comment for every 100 readers of the blog! Our church blog is updated (religiously!) once a week. My personal blog without the luxury of advertising to the congregation is even slower. But I think it just needs perseverence! God bless, Jenny (first time visitor).
